Why digital mirror
Every invoice is a decision point
Starting with the invoice to make your contracts perform sounds backwards. Give us two and a half minutes to show you why it works, and why it’s gaining ground.
Why we built it
Contract value leakage
Contract value leakage is now well documented: overbilling against rate cards, rebates and volume discounts that never get applied, payment terms shorter than you agreed, charges no one can substantiate. Vendors across AP automation, procure-to-pay, intake and orchestration, spend analytics, and contract management all promise to tackle it.
Yet they all leave the same gap, because no system checks what you are invoiced against what the contract says. Your AP system checks the invoice against the purchase order, a stripped-down copy of the contract. An invoice can pass that check and still break the deal you negotiated.
We took a more practical approach: start with the invoice, because every invoice is a decision point. You pay it, query it, or reject it, and the decision is what lands in your P&L. Digital Mirror reads each invoice line by line against the contract behind it, with the rates, rebates, and terms that applied on that date, and quantifies any gap with the exact clause cited. The checking happens before payment, so there is nothing to claw back later, no recovery audit, and no supplier relationship put under strain.

Start with invoices
610K SEK - recovered in three months by one customer, live since March 2026, the output of a full-time person. Cross-Invoice Verification catches duplicates, impossible billing hours, and inconsistencies across your invoice set before any contract is loaded.

Or start with contracts
30–40% - the share of active agreements most companies hold in any one system. If your records have gaps, our Discovery Agent locates and organizes your active agreements.
Beyond CLM
What we are, and what we are not
-
Not a CLM system
This is contract performance, proven at the invoice line. We are not another contract lifecycle management (CLM) system, and extending one into the post-signature world looks like a slower, more expensive route to achieving what you actually want. -
CLM stops at the signature
CLM has matured where it started, before the signature; drafting, negotiation, approval, and e-signature are now capable, low-cost tools. What happens after signature was never its territory; it is ours. The proof shows up in margin and cash, with no data cleansing, no pre-work, and no long rollout. We deliver value from the first invoices processed. -
It lands in working capital
Whichever way you start, the outcome lands in working capital: overpayments stopped before the money leaves, rebates and discounts collected, payment terms enforced. And if you want proof before commitment, ask us about outcome-based pricing.
About us
Digital Mirror was founded by the team behind Seal Software, the company that pioneered contract analytics and was acquired by DocuSign in 2020.
At Seal, we proved that machines could read contracts at enterprise scale. But we also discovered something more important: understanding a contract is only half the problem. The real test comes when invoices arrive.
Every negotiated price, discount, rebate, and commercial term is ultimately reflected in an invoice, yet most organizations have no practical way to verify that what they are being billed matches what they agreed. Existing procurement systems depend on purchase orders, not the detailed commercial terms contained in contracts.
Digital Mirror bridges that gap. Our platform reads contracts and invoices together, validating every invoice line against the commercial terms that authorized it while also identifying inconsistencies, duplicate charges, and pricing anomalies across invoices. Accuracy is fundamental. Our verification architecture cross-checks every interpretation before an issue is raised, giving organizations confidence that exceptions represent genuine commercial risks rather than false positives.
